what is the best way to locate a red laser pointer spot using jevois ?

+2 votes
I am trying to detect a red laser pointer spot in order to use it for an arm picking an object . What is the best way to detect the location of the spot in in the camera window ? The laser dot is strong so the luminosity of the spot is high. Tried with Object Tracker but cannot find a suitable range of HSV able to reliably locate it. Is there any recommended way to do this ?

Thank you,

Maybe this could help?

looks like the best way would be to use an optical filter in front of the lens of JeVois. With that, the basic ObjectTracker module should work ok.
